meanwhile in the city
Brief: The site of Corralline Walk was a brutalist residential estate aimed to accommodate the public. The aim of the project was to make use of this empty space to accommodate the community of Thamesmead. This was to be done by exploring the idea of pop up spaces that incorporated the interior and exterior space in a multi functional way through sustainable design for a better Tomorrow.
Location: The site of the project was Coralline Walk, situated in Thamesmead, within the borough of Greenwich and Bexley. The building was a post war housing development that replicated the modular brutalist architecture of many residential estates within Thamesmead.
